So Ryan and I decided to pick up and move to Seattle so he can try to get a job out there. Technically we won't live in Seattle, we will live in Woodinville (a city outside of Seattle). We feel there is more opportunity for him there, and don't get me wrong we love Utah, but we think it would be nice to get away for a while. So I've got mixed feelings about it. On one hand I'm so excited, it's going to be an adventure and a new start. On the other hand I've never lived more then a 30 minute drive away from my family so I'll miss them like crazy......but Ryan said I can fly back here periodically to visit. A questions I do need to ask myself is, Do I like the rain?........and my answer is sure, I don't mind it. I will have to get used to the weather change. One thing I won't miss is the weather here. I can definately do without the blistering hot summers and freezing cold winters. I'm nervous and excited so wish us luck!Wednesday, April 22, 2009
Goodbye Utah...........

Shelley, that is soooo crazy!! I dont want you guys to move away, I know I dont see you that often but that is just sad!!! I dont know what Steph is going to do with out you!! :( But I am sure it is probably the best for your family! Have you guys sold your house here in Spanish fork? Oh we will all have to get together before you leave!!!
Wow, what a change! We're doing the same thing for school, and it'll be nice to live somewhere other than Utah for a while. Just make sure you come back July 25th for our class reunion, and good luck!

Crazy! Good luck with the moving. It is nice to be away for awhile in some ways, but also hard! Ryan is from pretty close to Woodenville-he is from Kirkland. It is a fun area for sure, lots to do!

That is sooo sad, but exciting at the same time. We never got to have our girls night. When you come down sometime we will have to do it. Keep updating your blog so we can keep in tough. Good luck!!

Alright, already, get our buns to Seattle, would ya? There's someone in Woodinville who is excited to see you. And I have just the right kind of empathy to offer over the tough side of moving for you. When I was 22 Scott, Bryant (age 8 months)and I moved here from Utah, which was the first time I'd lived more than a three hour drive from my parents and childhood family. I hated that part, but I do love living in Seattle. I'm looking forward to taking Trey, Warren & Max to the park together with you. Okay fine, I know, hanging out with someone who is old enough to be your mother isn't gonna cut it, but still....see ya soon!
