So we really really want to get outdoors this summer and do lots of camping and fun stuff but we had never taken Max camping before and didn't know how he would do. So we got a tent from REI and decided to do a mock camping trip in Dave's back yard which is huge and perfect for this. So we set up the tent which Max absolutely loved and tried it out!

Obviously he loved the tent and didn't want to come out. This turned into a game we played for quite a while where he would run up to the edge and smash his face against the netting while I took pictures and tried my best to hold the camera still because I was laughing so hard! Here are just a few of the sweet shots I got.
Anyways, the night turned out to be good, he slept fine, the only downer is that he woke up at 5:30 in the morning because of the birds chirping and what not. I guess we have the "go ahead" to go out camping now :)

oh my gosh, those pictures of max made me laugh out loud! love that kid!! i also loved thinking about you cracking up behind the camera--so fun. love that you guys did that! i agree with steph, you are so pretty :) you're hair is getting long shell! you look cute as always.
