Henry Dee Sorensen

Love him so much already! So long story short he came WAY faster then I expected. When I started into active labor I had him basically 1 hour later so by the time I got to the hospital the nurses so kindly told me I was not going to be able to get the epideral I had long planned for and was going to have to go all natural...... I'll skip the details but I'm alive and most importantly Henry is so wonderful and healthy. We picked the name Henry because we felt strongly that was supposed to be his name after we had him and held him for the first time, and it has a lot of sentimental value to us being that it's my grandpa and great grandpa's name. He weighed 7.10 lbs and 20 inches long.

What a handsome little man. Look at all that hair! He looks like a Sorensen baby again to me, what are you guys thinking? Does he look Sorensen to you? Way to go all natural Shelley-Ry you'd better be prepared to deliver next time! Love the name Henry. So sad I can't be there to hold him and hear your story. :o(

Holy cow Shell!!! Good work. I don't think I've ever seen a cuter newborn (including my own)...usually they're all smooshed and funny looking for the first few days. Way to go natural, even though it wasn't planned and I'm sure it was hard. Congratulations babe, he's beautiful!!

Congratulations. He is beautiful. My second birth was short and intense, too. Not the easiest way to do it, but I'm glad it went well.
