Christmas in Boston :)

Brace yourself for a lot of pictures. We had the opportunity to travel out to Boston for Christmas this year. My brother in law Michael and his wife Christina with their 3 kids live out there while Michael is going to school. We were there for ten days and it was a blast! Here is a little preview of our activites while we were out there.
Gingerbread house making competition. I love how we couldn't just make gingerbread houses like a regular family, we made it into a competition :) It was so funny because everyone in the family is pretty competitive so it was timed 1 hour and and we divied out the candy evenly between everyone and we teamed up. In the end though we decided not to pick "a winner" we decided everyone won first place :)

While we were there we went to see Harvard campus, which was beautiful and freezing (freezing is probably an understatement)

I believe this was the one of the libraries at Harvard, all the buildings were old fashioned and huge. Michael showed us around and after we got hot chocolate which was the best hot chocolate I've ever had. It seriously tasted like I was drinking straight melted milk chocolate mmmmmmm, delicious!!!

Tim Tam Slam!!! Christina spent some time in London and learned the funnest activity there. London has these yummy chocolate cookies called Tim Tams, what you do is you bite some off the top and the bottom of the cookie and get hot chocolate and treat the cookie like a straw and you drink as much hot coco as you can untill your cookie basically falls apart then you shove the whole melting cookie in your mouth. Can't even explain to you in words how good this was :) I think it will become a regular Christmas tradition for us now :)

Some more pictures of us walking through Boston
IIn the above picture was this flower store called Exotic Flowers, but both me and Ryan thought it said Erotic Flowers, and we thought that was pretty funny so I had to take a picture of it.

Christmas mornign, we all got matching beanies

Nativity on Christmas Eve

Gotta love my brother in law Michael, he was Joseph in the Nativity :)
