Can't say we have been up to a lot this past month. We are down to one car, therefore I spend a lot of time at home trying to find things to do to keep me busy and sane. It has resulted in a lot of photo shoots with mostly Maxwell, occasionally me and Max together. It wasn't easy getting these pictures though. He kept trying to rip his glasses of before I could get a good photo, but after a few good efforts this is what I came up with. As you can tell, despite my efforts I do get a little bored sometimes and have to get creative to come up with things to do.
Haha I love these pictures, I just think he makes the cutest little nerdy baby.
Ryan has been working hard to support us and he plays on 2 soccer teams during the week. So he usually has at least a couple games a week after work. Once a week we try to go to the grocery store together and buy the ingredients to make a fun dinner together. Last week we made jalapeno poppers (picture above) with mustard crumb salmon. Normally I don't like fish but this was pretty good.
Another thing that keeps me busy during the day is baking. This past year I have grown this love for baking and cooking. My sister gave me this gourmet cupcake cook book so I am spending a lot of time making cupcakes. It's so much fun, but I have to get them out of the house or I will literally sneak down in the middle of the night and snack on them but I'm running out of people to give my desserts to...
It seems like my poor little boy has been sick a lot this month. He's been congested with a constant runny nose and a cough. I finally gave in and took him into the Dr to get him on an antibiotic. He's so sweet to help me with blowing his own nose :)
Ah.....much better.
Of course Max's favorite thing to do is kick any type of ball around the house. And what could make this better??? Being naked kicking a ball around the house! His 2 favorite things :)
I love seeing the boys spend time together. Max has been super into hanging out with daddy lately which makes me happy and gives me a little break.

paha! Those are the cutest pictures I think I've ever seen of you shell.... I mean max. Well, both of you! Did you read through my list of things to do when you're bored? You should do them, my person favorite that I havn't yet done, but intend to is to suddenly pretend that the room you're in turned into Narnia....and just go with it....haha!

haha I relate to you on so many levels...hence the pictures of beck in glasses on my blog, I was dying of boredom too! Thats such a fun and good idea that you guys make dinner together once a week, I think I might adopt that idea!
shell...your little max is darling and getting so big! Were going back to texas soon after the baby is born...lucky me! So im thinking early april. Traveling with a newborn should be quite an adventure! We always go to tx april-sept then oct-mar were here...what a crazy life huh!
Okay, I LOVE Max as a nerdy baby!! He is so stinkin' adorable! I wish you lived close still, we could be baking together.
