Day at the Beach!

First off, these pictures are in reverse order. This was the end result of our day at the beach.
Ryan pretending to be a monster, playing around with Max.....
We have some friends who have a house out on Whidbey Island who invited us to come stay there. So we took a ferry across the Puget Sound and drove to the other side of the island which took a whole 10 minutes . We got to the house which was the most beautiful house I've ever been in, no exaggeration. But even more beautiful was the view and the ocean which was just a few steps down from their house.

Don't worry I'm not a horrible mother, I was standing right next to him incase he started to slide down, you just can't see me in the picture.
Me and Ry were joking around calling Max our little Christopher Columbus explorer. I gave him this stick to hold and he carried it around with him the rest of the time.

This was the ferry ride out to the island.

Hi Shelley, It's been too long since we've seen you guys, which is ridiculous since our houses are only a mile apart, huh?!Congratulations on baby#2! (Jamie told me.) Somehow I lost your email address, so I'm leaving a message here. It's probably too early to call your house right now, but I've been meaning to call you, invite your fam to dinner and/or playtime. On most Thursday mornings the boys & I go to the library & park with friends. You know some of them (besides us). Wanna come? Today we’re going to the 10:15 storytime at Woodinville Library. We’ll be at the library for about an hour then on to Wilmot Gateway Park (in Woodinville) for lunch ‘til 1:15.

It was fun catching up on your life through the blog. -good stuff! -Keri
